Five years ago, the U.S. Government made a horrible mistake.
One mistake leads to another.

"You are the final result of years of research. Project 'A.S.H.'"

"So that's all I am? A weapon?"

Another mistake leads to crossed paths.

"Why did you save me?"

"What was I supposed to do? Let you die?"

"For all you know, I could be some criminal."

"For all you know, so could I. You still trust me, though."

Crossed paths lead to chaos.

"That girl in the picture is the A.S.H. There's no doubt in my mind."

"What do you want us to do?"

"Capture her. Use any means necessary. She is not to escape capture alive."

This winter, start the new year off with a bang.

"What would you do if you had no meaningful purpose?"

This February...

"What do you mean?"
